Your credit card transactions are totally secure when using this site.
We use the Payment Express service from Direct Payment Solutions (DPS) to process our credit card transactions in conjunction with the major trading banks in NZ. The Payment Express service uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which connects over the Internet to the DPS Host centre and maintains a permanent encrypted connection. Security of the connection and system is guaranteed via the 3DES encryption protocol.
Your credit card data is not held by Gifts on the run and must be entered each time you wish to process a payment.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer by ensuring you logoff when you have finished visiting Gifts on the run using a shared computer.
All this actually makes using this site safer than using your credit card in a conventional store!
However, if you are still concerned about paying by credit card over the Internet, we are happy to take manual transactions if you prefer. Please phone or fax your details and order to us on (0064) (9) 476-0957.
Remember we need a delivery address in NZ and your message for the gift card.
At present we are authorised to accept Visa and Mastercard transactions. There has been little demand for other types. However, if you don’t hold either a Visa card or Mastercard we would appreciate you sending us a quick email via the “contact us” screen letting us know what credit card you prefer to use. If we get sufficient demand we will endeavor to add your card to our list.

I now live in Brisbane so being able to purchase online for direct delivery in New Zealand is a lot easier then buying something that will get "lost" in the mail (as has happened previously).
